Colour for a personal space is an individual choice, however there is much to be gained by choosing the correct order balance and harmony of colour, taking account of the elevation of the room, natural light, surrounding framework, furniture, fabrics and flooring. This is particularly important within public and commercial spaces. As good quality paint increases in cost, it is important to get the system and colour choice right.

Decowell offers a specialist colour consultancy and advice service within private, public, ecclesiastical and commercial interiors and exteriors. Colour guidance takes into account the surrounding context, client's personal taste, and desired effect that they wish to achieve. Personal colours will be uniquely created and tailor-made to suit specific projects; each colour recipe is carefully recorded and prepared in our studios. We can prepare lime/distemper paints, traditional flat oil paints, vinyl and mid sheen matt paint, depending on the surface and required finish.

Paints are carefully specified with regard to suitability for the surface. They are used with caution when required and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations and controls are adhered to. All personnel within Decowell have appropriate health and safety training when dealing with traditional and modern paint systems.
