Literally 'trick of the eye', trompe l'oeil is a traditional decorative technique involving the painting of realistic imagery onto a flat surface, creating the illusion of realistic scenes and objects in three dimensions.

Trompe l'oeil requires detailed understanding of light and colour mixing, as well as thorough knowledge of architectural features, in order to create a realistic ensemble. Our trained artists have extensive experience in executing complex trompe l'oeil schemes of exceptional quality.

We are experts at translating a clients' vision to create an inspiring design concept, which will be agreed in sketch format prior to being executed within the space. With specialist training in conservation disciplines, we can also repair, consolidate and restore existing mural work or wall paintings.
